Accepting New Clients!

HI! I’m Blanca and I am passionate about helping others on their individual healing journey.

I believe that counseling should be a collaborative environment between the counselor and client. My goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, valued, and supported every step of the way. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding and the belief that everyone deserves access to mental health care, regardless of their background or circumstances.

As a bilingual therapist (Spanish and English), I bring a unique perspective to the therapeutic space. Having navigated the complexities of balancing multiple cultures and languages, I am deeply passionate about helping individuals break through the barriers that often prevent them from seeking support. I am able to offer therapy in Spanish, making it easier for clients to express themselves in a language they are most comfortable with. This is particularly important to me because I understand how language can deeply affect the therapeutic process, especially when it comes to discussing personal and emotional topics. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, identity issues, or simply navigating life transitions, I am here to help.

A little deeper about me.....

My journey to becoming a counselor started in High School when I noticed the stigma surrounding mental health in my own community. Growing up in a culture that views seeking help as a form of weakness was difficult to overcome and yet empowering once I learned the value in asking for help. This led me to earning my Bachelors of Science from Western Oregon University in Psychology and later on earning my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. During my time as a student I worked as a Family Advocate where I worked one-on-one with families to ensure they had access to resources within their community.

Later on, I became a Bilingual Confidential Advocate where I supported individuals going through interpersonal violence. This experience has fueled my drive to create a welcoming, inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds—especially those in underserved communities—feel empowered to seek the support they need.
