Psychotherapy is an opportunity to discuss current or prior distressing issues with a trained objective person.
The focus is on you, exploring tools that can remedy any limiting or inhibiting thoughts/emotions/behaviors.
It is a collaborative event, requiring action from both the client at the therapist for change to occur.
Therapy sessions are typically 55 minutes long.
Meeting frequency is dependant on need but we recommend starting with weekly sessions.
The length of time while in therapy will depend on the individual client’s unique circumstances.
Together a treatment plan is created.
